I got the idea to write this after This Discussion...

I'll add almost anyone to my journal, within reason. I will not add anyone who posts pornography in their journal, especially if it's open and for all to see. There are a few things I refuse to link my journal to. Although my journal is semi-locked, not all of the people I add as friends lock theirs and therefore if you post porn or anything else that I deem as inappropriate in open posts, I may not add you because if a child wanders upon my journal, I don't want them to click my friends page and see something such as porn.

Call me judgmental or holier than thou, but I could care less when it comes to something like this. If you do post porn or graphic language, be smart enough to lock the posts and put it behind a cut.

I have no problem befriending those who believe different or who do things I don't agree with; however, there is a difference between hanging out with people you don't agree with and justifying their behavior or allowing it into your life. There are certain things I will not put up with and with all the junk out there that children can wander upon, I don't want to be a part of it by giving access to it through my journal.

Besides, what's the point in friending someone when I don't want to read anything they have to say or see anything that they post?
